The Landscape Expo would like to formally invite you to share your knowledge and expertise by presenting a seminar at The 2014 Landscape Expo – Long Beach (TLE – LB), which will be held October 29th – 30th at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.
The deadline to submit is Monday, February 17th.
The Landscape Expo Seminar/Workshop Submittal Guidelines:
Speakers should have a background in academia; vendors with field experience are also encouraged to submit; however the presentation should have generic elements. TLE – LB is looking for presentations on topics such as, business management, plant selection, turf care, tree care, pest control, irrigation/water management, outdoor lighting, hardscape installation, pool building/water feature design, and custom residential.
You may submit a request to speak on any of these topics, or any topic you feel might be of interest to landscape contractors, installers, or maintenance professionals. Each session should be 1.5 hours in length, but we recommend covering content for approximately 80 minutes, to allow for 10 minutes of valuable Q & A.
To Submit your Prospectus:
Please send your seminar proposal in either .docx or PDF format, include your seminar title and a paragraph describing the course with at least three learning objectives. Also, include full contact information, a brief biography with professional accomplishments and degrees, a color headshot image (this does not need to be professionally done, but needs to be at least 500 pixels) and any travel or honorarium requirements. All proposals must be submitted in their entirety.
