The ASLA CA Sierra Chapter’s Emerging Professionals Group (EPG) is committed to bridging the gap between established and emerging professionals in the field of landscape architecture. As a group, we seek to:

the involvement of emerging professionals within the field of landscape architecture by connecting with industry leaders and other young professional groups.

back to our community through volunteer work and participation in public events.

This mission includes assisting emerging professionals taking the Landscape Architecture Registration Exam (LARE) by providing lectures, workshops, and study resources. For more information please see our LARE Resource Guide.

If you are young, young at heart, or have less than 10 years of experience in the profession, then we encourage you to contact us or attend one of our events. New members are always welcome!

2023 Associate Membership Dues Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to aid an emerging professional to continue (or begin) their ASLA membership. We’d like this scholarship to encourage a young professional to stay or get involved in ASLA and capitalize on all the benefits ASLA offers, to foster their professional growth as they become an established landscape architect/designer practitioner.
