The Department of Landscape Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona presents the first part of its upcoming series on Landscape Architecture and the Science of Climate Change.
Dr. Lucy Jones will talk with the Southern California landscape architecture community about the physical science of what needs to be done, the social science of what inspires action, and how art can give us the inspiration.
Join the event during your lunch break. It starts at 12pm and ends at 1pm on Friday, April 16th, 2021 PDT, followed by a Q&A moderated by Ronnie Siegel, ASLA, representative of Southern California in the Climate Change Action Network of ASLA. This is a public outreach event free for everyone to attend. Attendance may be limited by Zoom webinar capacity.
This event is possible thanks to the support of Dr. Lucy Jones, the College of Environmental Design at Cal Poly Pomona, Ronnie Swire Siegel, the Southern California Chapter of ASLA, and the National Association for Minority Landscape Architects.
