THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED.
Following communications with ASLA Headquarters, as well as monitoring the news coming from California and regional officials, it has become evident that it is in everyone’s best interest to postpone our programs and any in person meetings scheduled for the remainder of March and the month of April. At that time, we will reassess the situation and keep the membership apprised of any updates. Please be sure to practice social distancing and CDC regulations.
We want you to know that the Chapter is committed to your health and safety. We will keep you posted of any updates that pertain to the Chapter including the rescheduling of postponed events.

Taking cues and momentum from the W_x_LA group and the "Allies, Advocates and Stakeholders: Building Up Women in Landscape Architecture" presentation at last fall's Conference on Landscape Architecture (San Diego), the Sierra Chapter would like to create a forum for women of all ages/experience to come together and promote growth in our profession. The Women x Landscape Architecture chair, Jessica McWilliams, has some ideas of what she'd like this group to be like but also wants it to respond to what YOU, the attendees, want it to become. W x LA focuses on gender justice and equality in the profession but this doesn't need to be a solely female based group.
Come join us on Wednesday March 18th at the AIA office (1400 S Street, Suite 100) from 5:30-7:00pm to see how we can work together to foster equal growth in the profession.
